I build things, figure out how they work, and write down what I learn.

I’m Lukas, a software developer and tinkerer based in Lithuania. I have been writing code professionally since 2016, but most of what ends up on this site starts with curiosity rather than work.

My free time is filled with a wide mix of hardware and software projects. On the physical side, I build DIY electronics using microcontrollers like Arduinos and Raspberry Pis, assemble custom drones, and work on cars doing both electrical wiring and mechanical upgrades.

On the digital side, I am slowly building a homelab. I enjoy fine-tuning Linux setups and virtual machines to improve my workflows, automating my house with Home Assistant and Zigbee, and securing my local network.

Most of these projects happen without a client or a deadline. Documenting them gives the work a second purpose: I keep a record of what I learned, and someone else may find the useful parts.
